The one thing that sets Miami Family Medicine apart from all other medical practices is that we see patients at the exact time they are scheduled. It is a model that has been in place since the first day we opened on December 12th, 2012.
Please understand that the only way to achieve this goal daily is to have strict rules. Therefore all appointments are cancelled after 10 minutes with no exceptions.
Keep in mind that if your scheduled visit is at 10:00 a.m. and you arrive at 10:10 a.m. you will be turned away and if this happens three times you will be discharged as a patient.
This policy applies for as long as you are our patient and it does not reset every year. If you feel these rules are too strict we recommend that you find a different practice. Thank you.
Marc is originally from Washington D.C., he attended George Washington University and George Mason University graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management in 1996.
After College Marc got certified and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and an Ophthalmic Medical Technician (COT) both in the DC area and in Broward County.
He met Dr. Coker and Denni Jordan in the 90's and they officially became business partners on June 27th, 2000.
In his current position Marc is in charge of:
Dr. Coker was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and after completing High School in Alice Springs, Australia, she graduated first in her class at George Mason University in Virginia with a B.S. in Medical Technology.
She was awarded a scholarship to the University of Miami - Class of 2000 - and after becoming Board Certified in Family Medicine, she worked at JMH, Baptist Health, and Mercy Hospital both as an Urgent Care and Primary Care Physician.
In 2012 along with Marc and Denni she opened a successful Medical Practice that by 2020 has grown to over 5,000 patients. Her intelligence, experience, bed side manner, and above all being on-time is what sets Dr. Coker apart from the rest.
Denni is from Westbrook, Maine. She has a degree in Ophthalmic Medical Technology and has worked in the medical field since the 1990's. In addition, she is also a Real Estate Broker and the Senior Partner of our second business RE/MAX Millennium, soon to open next to our clinic in Coconut Grove.
If you have seen us on Social Media, Bus Shelters, or Metro Stations she is the one that made it happen. Denni has been instrumental in the growth of our practice, and even as busy as she is, she still finds time to help us check-in and check-out patients.
